With all the concerns & talk about the bad weather expected for Memorial Day Weekend 2018, is this the “calm before the storm”? Everyone stay safe. I had to stop and take these pictures & consider the absolute magnificence of creation, of nature.

Every beating heart has a story. We likely know less details than we think we do about another one’s story. And yet, we often judge, criticize and even gossip about their shortcomings. When in doubt, let’s all be kind.❤️🤗❤️

It’s Summer! Hold The Homework! In tomorrow’s Friday Food For Thought on my Facebook page “Pages From Joan”, I am sharing a creative, fun summer activity that will teach our children how to be more compassionate towards those in need🤗

*drinks juice while journaling, is woke AF* lol not actually meta/woke/enlightened, but a good juice and journal session makes me feel like fucking wonder woman. That being said, I’m terrified to try a juice cleanse. I feel like I would constantly be shitting my pants and be peak-cranky-Lizzie, which sounds like a nightmare. Have you done one? Tell me everything because I think cleansing is fascinating/terrifying. 😱 also, this moneing my friends at @madritual inspired me to write this at the top of my journal entry and it made my heart sing: “spend less time watching other people live their lives and more time enjoying your own.” ✨ Happy Wednesday duderinos, I hope this week is treating you like the princess you are 👸🏼

Something to consider the next time you and I feel like we’re walking through a storm without an umbrella ☔️

Follow me on my Facebook Page: “pages from joan”😀 For Tuesday Talk, I am encouraging us all to “take in” nature more with each passing day. I’ve included several quotes like these and over 25 of my favorite nature pics.

It is easy to see our late Mama in each one of our faces, and in our character, too❤️😘❤️ ❤️We see Mama in our daughters, too.❤️

Weddings, Graduations, and Funerals have 3 Things in Common. All three may cause you to consider: 1) Where you’ve been... 2) Where you are today... 3) Where you are going... So much fun at our friend, @lynnmcgriffbridell ‘s son’s Griff’s wedding. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Bridell! Friends with Lynn since Fernbank Elementary, we’ve done a lot of precious life together‼️

You AND I were created for a specific purpose.

Did you see the sky tonight? When’s the last time you took a minute to really see the clouds? Hope you’ll take time soon❤️
